Wilhelm Haarmann als Rich Man erfolgreich

Dieser Blog hat sich lange mit Wilhelm Haarmann beschäftigt und widmet sich momentan seinem Lehrer A. W. Hofmann.
Heute kehren wir noch einmal zu Wilhelm Haarmann zurück, der mit "Rich Man" einen schönen Erfolg verbuchen konnte. Er wurde  heute in den Top 20 der Kategorie Abenteuer & Forscher der fremdsprachigen Biografien bei Amazon gelistet.
Für einen Autor ist es übrigens faszinierend, durch moderne Technik -hier CreateSpace- unabhängig von Verlagen, sein Buch selbst zu veröffentlichen.

Wilhelm Haarmann has been interested in the all the different odors around him since childhood. He was especially interested in the scent of vanilla, which was purported to have had an erotic effect as far back as the Aztec culture. He studied chemistry and committed himself to the study and research of the vanilla aroma. He made his breakthrough with the discovery of the vanillin formula and founded the first aroma factory worldwide in 1874. Wilhelm produced other aromatic substances and became a multimillionaire.
